Komplex is back with a storming sub-bass onslaught. The energy begins with the title track, a fusion of electro kicks and mysterious synths, then dominated by a four-to-the-floor beat that seals the groove. My personal favourite is Colossal, an ear-worm of synth intrigue and interrupted stereo fragments, driven onward by those ever-present bass notes.
Favorite track: Colossal.
Originally conceived as an introduction/outro for the KOMPLEX LIVE PA circa 2003, the title track "Sub Harmonix" has stood the test of time and resonated around the world for close to two decades.
Sounding different during an era when techno loops reigned supreme, it's mysteriously unique vibe and chopped robotic voices made an impact with punters, underground dj's and radio hosts, eventually landing a vinyl pressing on Soleil Records as part of the Warsaw Admixture Series 3 with Echoplex, Damon Wild, Pacou, Hiroaki Iizuka and Ben Browning.
